Sikapur Gastro digestive gel, 500ml

Sikapur med Gastro is a medical device based on purely mineral silica gel. The 500 ml pack is intended for acute or chronic gastrointestinal disorders accompanied by diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach ache or flatulence.

The formula contains silicic acid gel with 3.5 g of silicon dioxide per 100 ml. It works by physically adsorbing substances and gases in the gastrointestinal tract to facilitate their elimination.

The manufacturer recommends its use in people with irritable bowel syndrome, provided a prior diagnosis has been made. In the event of persistent or severe symptoms, or symptoms accompanied by fever, blood in the stools or dehydration, medical advice should be sought.

Follow the instructions on the packaging and use the specified measure. The dosage guidelines published by the manufacturer distinguish between acute symptoms and chronic discomfort; do not exceed the recommended amounts and consult a healthcare professional regarding its use in children.

Active ingredient: 100 ml of gel contains 100 ml of silica gel (silicic acid gel) with 3.5 g of silicon dioxide.

Children and adults experiencing acute symptoms should take 2 tablespoons (15 ml each), 3 to 5 times a day, mixed with water or tea, between meals and, if necessary, immediately before going to bed.
Once acute symptoms have subsided, treatment may be continued for a few days by taking 1 measuring spoonful (15 ml) 3 times a day.
In the case of chronic gastrointestinal problems, adults should take 1 measuring spoonful (15 ml) in water or tea 3 times a day on an empty stomach or between meals.
Treatment with Sikapur® med should not exceed 6 weeks. Symptoms should subside after the third week of treatment.
