Avent Ultra Soft +18M contains two dummies for babies aged 18 months and over, and a sterilising case. Each Avent dummy has a symmetrical silicone teat and a flexible shield. The pack is ideal for those looking for a dummy for 18-month-olds with sensitive skin.

The symmetrical teat is made of silicone and is designed to support natural oral development. The flexible shield moulds to the contours of the face and reduces pressure on the cheeks.
The case allows for microwave sterilisation. Rinse the teats, add the indicated amount of water to the container and heat for three minutes. Allow to cool before opening and emptying.
Check the teat before each use by pulling it in all directions. Discard the dummy if it shows any cracks, bite marks, deformation or loose parts. Philips recommends replacing it after four weeks for hygiene reasons. Do not tie it around the neck with a ribbon.
Philips states that 80 per cent of the materials used in the hard plastic parts of the soother and the case are plant-based, as determined by a mass balance system. The teat is still made of silicone.
Carry the clean dummies in the case and avoid leaving them loose in bags or on surfaces. If they fall on the floor, clean and sterilise them before offering them to your baby again.
